I recently installed on my HTC Desire HD (HTC ACE) the last version of CyanogenMod ROM 7.1.0.
ROM is working great and I suggest it to everyone who wants to change the standard one (pay attention, it doesn't have Sense on it! but that's not only a negative point).
In any case, I've found that some app, once moved on the SDCard, slow down the ROM very much and, once rebooted they cause a quite immediate ROM freezing/blocking after the PIN code. you will then need to take off the battery and restart the phone.
Only way is to delete the app file from your SD Card.
Connect the Sd Card to a PC and open the ".android_secure" folder from the room (sometimes it's an hidden folder) and delete the file (usually is the last one moved).
Mount the SD on the mobile and turn it on. Now you can install the app again but DON'T move the app to the SD or you will have the problem again!
Here I will add a list of apps causing this problem. Not sure if it's the same on all mobiles/versions, but maybe this will help someone:
- Cut the rope
- Lane Splitter
- Box
- Make me old
- Make me bald
- Samsung mobile printer
- IP Cam Viewer Pro
- Minecraft
- Photoshake
- Google drive
- Trony
- 500px
- Instagram
More to come (once I find them!)
If you are having this problem too, please send a comment on this page

...and hope google will solve it soon or at least will provide us a solution!
Thanks!
